Harry S. Bernstein

"My clients know they can come to me for anything and that I hold their interests above my own."

Harry Bernstein originally went into law to help his family’s beverage business. His primary goal is to develop a long term relationship with his clients so that he can help them with all of their legal and planning needs.  He is incredibly competitive when it comes to winning his cases. When he isn’t busy with Cleveland's sports teams, he likes to give back to the community and learn new skills outside of the law.

Past Successes

56 year old client, while on the job, suffered catastrophic injuries from a car accident caused by another individual. We were able to get him approved for Workers Comp Permanent and Total Disability, Social Security Disability Benefits, as well as recover damages from the negligent party.  Total compensation exceeded $750,000.

Working with a team of financial and insurance advisors, Harry developed an estate plan for a retired couple to protect their assets for their golden years, as well as provide for their typical and special needs children and grandchildren.

A family came to Harry’s office when their Mom was facing the possibility of long term care.  Harry developed an effective estate plan to conserve much of her assets for her care and her family’s future.

I’m competitive by nature. I’ve never been afraid of a challenge.

I do not like to lose. You expect your lawyer to win your case for you and I expect nothing less from myself. When you come to me with a winnable case, my one goal is victory.

  • We both want your case won. That’s what I do, but I only do so ethically.
  • I am committed to getting the resolution you want as efficiently as possible.
  • I want your outcome to leave your life better off.

Community Involvement

More than just an attorney.

When you practice law, you do your community a service by protecting and fighting for the people who need it. But it doesn’t have to stop there. Whether it’s with Boy Scouts, special needs organizations, or other community matters I am always looking for a way to give back.

Client Testimonials

No matter your challenge, I will find the best solution.

Solving a legal case is a lot like a football game. I have my playbook, but each play won’t work for each situation. If you run the ball when you should have passed, the opponent gets the ball instead of you scoring points. Courts and the law work the same way. Each case requires a different play to score.

If you need to file for Social Security, you need the help of a good lawyer because the process is not an easy one. Likewise, if you need to guarantee that your assets and legacy are handled exactly how you want when you pass on, then the only way to do so is with the help of an experienced estate planning lawyer. Otherwise, the court will distribute your assets as they see fit.

When it comes to personal injury, I don’t carry the attitude of “I’ll make them pay no matter what.” But I will ensure that you get the justice you deserve, if you were injured due to someone else’s carelessness. Money can’t always fix a life-changing injury or get your life back to normal, but it can help you get the support you will need to move forward.
